Helping Denver Families for more than 50 years.

Sara Brown primarily assists families and foster families involved in the child welfare system, adult protection system and individuals receiving a form of public assistance, populations we know are Denver’s most vulnerable, by providing small grants of assistance that support stability, health and well-being.

Who We Are

The Sara Brown Memorial Fund helps Denver’s most vulnerable population by providing small grant of assistance that make a significant difference in improving stability, health, or safety. The children, adults, and families we help come to us in times of desperation. Many are overwhelmed, in distress, or are struggling with their day-to-day finances. Many have not had heat for weeks at a time, cannot afford to buy a pair of eyeglasses, get a cavity filled, struggle to buy a quart of milk, or are on the brink of homeless. During these times, they turn to Sara Brown Memorial Fund for help.

People We’ve Helped

We are proud to have worked with so many families in the Denver area, here’s what a few of them had to say.
